Wrestling Season begins Monday October 30th. We are starting a week later than what the registration page says to allow all Matkats time to finish off their football seasons.

If you haven’t registered yet please do so quickly if you are planning on returning for this season. Equipment takes about 3-4 weeks to order and get to us. If you are not registered or paid in full within the next week we will have to do our first order without you but will take a second order later.

Please spread the word and get your friends involved!! The more the merrier!

We will have a parent meeting the first week to inform everyone of the schedule, practice times and practice days as well as the expectations of the wrestlers, families and coaching staff.

It looks to be another great year with a lot of new faces already signed up!

Practice Monday the 30th will be 6-6:45 pm for all wrestlers 8 and under. Older wrestlers will go from 6-7:30 pm.

Practice November the 1st will be at the same times. We’ll have an 8 and under parent meeting beginning at 6-6:30 pm and older wrestlers parents will be from 6:30-7:00 pm.

Friday November 3rd…Optional practice begins at 6 and will end at 7:30 pm. This is typically for the more advanced wrestler. If you are new to wrestling or are younger this may not be a practice that you want to attend.

Please enter through the glass doors on the South end of Mountain View HS. Wear your street shoes into the building and change into your wrestling shoes in the hallway outside of the wrestling room. Practice attire is gym shorts (no zippers) and a T-shirt. Please dress accordingly as the weather changes until practice time.

If you are leaving your child at practice please return at lest 10 minutes before the end of practice to pick up your wrestler(s).
